My experience with apps to watch free TV

Today I'm going to talk about my experience watching my favorite shows thanks to free TV watching apps.

I always enjoyed getting home after a busy day and turning on the TV to watch the news, soap opera, series or cooking show.

But over time, open channels began to lose space and most things went to streaming.

Then came the problem: paying R$ 30 here, R$ 60 there… before I knew it, my card bill was getting heavy just with these subscriptions.

That's when I started researching and discovered that there are indeed reliable, free apps with free trials that allow you to watch live TV and on-demand content.

I tested several and selected the best ones to share with you.

1. Pluto TV – Free and with 24-hour channels

This app was a surprise! I thought it would be pretty weak, but it won me over quickly.

THE Pluto TV has more than 100 free channels, with 24-hour programming of films, series, cartoons, documentaries, reality shows and much more.

And the best part: You don't need to register or enter a credit card. Just download, open and start watching.

💡 Tip from a friend: there's a channel with only old soap operas and another with action movies all day long. A surefire addiction!

2. Globoplay – Has a free option and a 7-day trial

THE Globoplay is well known, right? But what many people don't know is that it has a whole area free, with soap operas, newspapers and live TV Globo programming.

And if you want to access premium content, you can test it out for 7 days free before deciding whether to subscribe.

I took the opportunity to binge-watch an old soap opera and then canceled it without any problems.

Ah, sometimes they roll discount coupons for first-time subscribers. It's worth keeping an eye on!

3. Vix – Free 100% Streaming

This one is another one that I use a lot. Vix is a streaming platform that has movies, series and soap operas — everything totally free, with the only condition being to see some ads (nothing special compared to what we save).

The catalog is more focused on Latin and older productions, but there are some hidden gems there.

I found a Mexican soap opera from the 90s that I watched with my mother and I almost cried with nostalgia!

4. TNT Novelas – For fans of international soap operas

If you like Turkish or Latin soap operas, TNT Soap Operas It's a great choice.

It works with pay TV services, but the app has live broadcasts and you can watch it on your cell phone.

Many people who have Claro TV or Sky can access no additional cost. And the content is of great quality.

5. YouTube and Facebook – Masses, soap operas and live programs

It may seem simple, but both the YouTube as the Facebook They have live broadcasts of religious and cultural channels and even old soap operas.

I follow some masses on my parish's Facebook page and have watched complete soap operas posted by authorized channels on YouTube.

6. Bonus tip: PlayPlus and Claro TV+ with free trial

  • PlayPlus: Record TV app, with live and on-demand content. It has 7-day free trial, and then the subscription is cheap (around R$ 15.90 per month).
